Beth Wiese

Post by Chris Horsch »

I had the great pleasure of attending a recital today (June 23) by Beth Wiese at the Chicago Cultural Center. She performed Variations by Stevens, the Madsen sonata, the Hindemith sonata and the Vaughn Williams concerto, all with superb piano accompaniment. Beth is, in a word, spectacular. What a treat. I can't believe she will not continue to surface in a very positive way.

Beth was kind enough to sit in with me for a performance of Symphonie Fantastique last season. She is a stellar player and will go as far as she chooses to, but was also extremely generous for donating her time and talent for a community orchestra here in Chicago.
