Mute for PT-20P

As I am prepping for my undergrad this fall, I know there will be times that I want to practice, but can't because of how loud the tuba is. That being said, do you have any suggestions for muting? I know practice mutes can be good for sound reduction, but if there's something that would work for performance as well, that would be great!
If you haven't gathered it thus far, I play on a PT-20P CC tuba.

I saw this one on eBay. Does anyone know anything about it?

A "practice mute" is the most silent variety of mute you can get. This would be the type of mute you'd need to maximum sound reduction for playing in an apartment, hotel, or other place where unmuted playing would be unacceptable, at least at times. You would not use a practice mute in concert.

A concert mute, generally a "straight mute," does make the tuba more silent, but more than that it changes the sound to be 'different' as well as softer (but not silent). These are typically not quiet enough to use as practice mute substitutes without modification in some fashion.

There one maker I know of that is offering combination mutes that can be used as practice mutes or straight concert mutes. One is from Schlipf and is the Mnozil Brass Tour Mute. Not cheap.

Unfortunately, I can't spend that much. My max budget is $200, and would be overjoyed to find something for under $100.
