So, I've been toying with the idea of using one of my cheap tuba or trombone mouthpieces to replace my hood ornament. I Google for some ideas, and this post and this this post were what came up.

Have you actually done this? You got pics? How do they look?

Ah, okay. Wasn't sure.

I got my Town Car with the hood ornament ripped off a few years ago, and have toyed with this since. I have a handful of 12C's that are...as you all know...pretty useless, so I was thinking about using one of them.

Since the silver is pretty oxidized, I am thinking about chroming it up, too. EDIT: Turns out toothpaste shined it up something nice!

This will probably be done when I'm doing some needed body work. I'll send pics whenever that is.
