Tuba solo with brass Choir

Post by Tubadork »

hey,
I was wondering what is out there for tuba solo and brass choir? I know Mike Forbes wrote capriccio, but I'm not sure what else is out there.

It would be for me to play with a college brass group. (whole bunch of trumpets, 3 horns, 3 trombones, euph, tuba and percussion).

Thanks!
Bill

Dorm 40 Music has a few- go to http://www.dorm40music.com" target="_blank , click on Scores, then click "by Searching", in the Select Instrumentation drop-down menu choose the category you want, and click Search Instrumentation.

I didn't look to see who did which arrangements, but fellow TubeNetter Craig Garner has a whole lot of arrangements on this site. Well worth a look.

It's not quite the same... But the Gregson tuba concerto can be played with a brass band. You would need to add a couple people for that.
