It's a text. Excellent reading. Some very fascinating facts and tons of information about playing all from the "Man" himself.

A couple things:

>My question is, is it a solo, text, or both? What is Song and Wind.

I have never ever heard of a solo called Song and Wind. There is a book called Arnold Jacobs: Song and Wind.

>Other than something written by Arnold Jacobs of course.
all from the "Man" himself

I have been called a lot of things but never the "Man." Yes, Mr Jacobs was consulted big time but he didn't write it, some other bum named Frederiksen did.

Some bum.

BUY THE BOOK!!! I've read it three times since I've bought it. It's great!! And if you don't have the CD, Portrait of an Artist, GET IT TOO!!! You'll be better for it in the end....
