Folks...

Today would've been Tommy Johnson's 80th birthday. In honor of that, I registered a domain for him:

The site there is a bit outdated, as I put it together around the time of the memorial service held in his honor back in 2006. It was previously accessed under http://www.tommyjohnson.org" target="_blank, but that domain was "on loan". The owner needed to use it for other purposes, so I just pointed the new domain to the old site.

The main reason I have it up there is to share a PDF of the program I put together for the memorial service. It's comprised of remembrances I solicited from students, colleagues, friends and family members after Tommy passed, selections from a "memory book" presented to Tommy when he turned 70, and photos either provided by colleagues, or scanned out at the Johnson residence with the assistance of his widow, Pat (RIP). Sadly, I repeated the process a year later when I worked with Pat and Tommy's son, Keith, after she passed away suddenly due to a stroke.

Perhaps at some point in the future, someone will have the time and resources to build out a proper site. For now, enjoy the program!
