According to Wikipedia, he doubled up the bass line to Hold on I'm Coming on tuba...

I didn't notice...

While I've givin up smoking, most of my interests include things one can do while smoking and drinking beer.

Softball, bowling, tuba, sailing...

Thanks for the photos. I have always loved Booker T. There was a real energy in Memphis in those years. I had not known of BT's tuba history but in retrospect, it is consistent with traditional instrumentation.

Stock verbiage. Page history is online - nothing to see here. For a popular musician, the guy had a phenomenally stable personal life. The article doesn't say anything about tuba, but he did play baritone saxophone, which might scandalize some of you guys but what can I say, he was a cool dude. And the MGs included some other pretty great musicians.

Booker T very talented besides Keyboards and Tuba,you can add Trombone and Bari Sax to the list of Intruments he plays.
