Hi everyone,
Forgive the ignorance but as a trombonist first and a tubist second I really don't know what shank size the horn needs is. I'm more of a sousa player even when doubling and playing on a Dillon's Olka CB2 (phenomenal mouthpiece by the way) which I picked up while on a Conn 36k. I am assuming this means it is an American shank. I just wanted to know if it'll work fine for the Meinl-Weston 25 or if I need to bite the bullet and get a Euro shank version as well. Thanks in advance for the help.
Cheers,
Josh

Re: Meinl-Weston 25 shank size
I acquired a horn this year, and the (US shank) mouthpiece wobbled. I took it to an excellent repairman, and his comment was, "you can push it in harder". My answer was, "let's adjust it". Being an excellent repairman, he did a great job (fits perfectly) and it was money well spent.
