What Sousaphone?

Post by bigtubby »

Does anyone recognize the sousaphone in this video? I have a bell engraved "Keefer" that is similar but the throat is a bit bigger I think.

The throat looks very wide compared to the bell diameter. Is that diameter only 22"?

Thanks - everyone and yeah I should have chased him down. The bell flare looked way too small to me ... camera angle maybe?

Off topic but: Dan, you will probably appreciate Brad who is a tinker supreme as well as a great guitarist.

I liked him for the muted trumpet scat and now I like him even more.
