Hallo Tubnet,
About a year or so ago, there was a tuba euphonium quartet (from Texas?) that performed and recorded Shostakovich's 8th string quartet.
I'm interested in the recording and arrangement but they seem to have vanished from the internet. Anyone out there have a clue?
Best Regards,

It was recorded by the Boreas Quartet for their 2014 CD: "The Serpent's Kiss," available from Potenza Music. If I recall correctly, Derek Fenstermacher did the transcription of the Shostakovich quartet. As far as I know, the sheet music isn't commercially available. I suggest contacting Derek directly if you're looking to purchase his transcription.
