Drill of the Week #15, "Gianter Steps"

Post by Chris Olka »

Hey folks, hope you're having a relaxing Christmas Eve. I finally had a little downtime yesterday and decided to try and put up another drill. With my decrepit iPad and spotty interwebz service in the Tennessee mountains...the production "quality" leaves a bit to be desired. However, hope you like it.

I've been swamped with orchestra work, tuba-conference appearances, recording my first solo album, and.....oh yeah...family this year. I apologize for not getting more of these up but am always grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response they get.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season and Happy New Year.

Very best regards,
Chris Olka

Thank you very much for sharing these exercises. :D By the way, I really enjoyed you and Mr. Pokorny's performance last week with the CSO brass! The sound was absolutely amazing! Merry Christmas!

Mr Olka is one of the greats and it's very nice of him to put these up for us.

Chris, I saw you play Sym. Fantastique with Cincinnati this fall. I know you have been playing regularly with this orchestra. What are your plans regarding Cincinnati and Seattle?

Cheers,
Hup
