Hi all,
I spent a while digging to see if I could find which Bach mouthpiece the Yamaha 67C4 is most similar to. While it was easy to determine that the 18 and 22 both have inner diameters within half a millimeter of the Yammie, I couldn't find anything on the depth comparisons, and of all the tuba mouthpieces in the world that I could be lacking somehow a Bach 18 (and subsequently 22) are among them. Does anyone have any info?
Thanks,
Justin

This gives inner diameter and a letter to represent cup depth. I don't know whether he bases those off of manufacturers' websites, other people's input, his own comparisons, or what. I have no way of knowing whether the "medium" depth marking associated with the Bach 18 and 22 means the same thing as the "medium" marking for the 67C4.gregsundt wrote:http://dwerden.com/Mouthpieces/tuba.cfm

I use a 67C4 for my primary, and bought a Kelly acrylic which is the same as the Bach 24AW. I find both of them to be very similar, but like the acrylic for outside events when it's cold. Good luck.

The 66D4 is the Yamaha 24AW version (which I prefer).
I like the C4 on my 621 Bb and even then Wessex Tornister.
