What key is this?

Post by Bacchanalia »

I've got a friend who wants to buy a BBb cheap and is looking at restoring this eBay find. But it doesn't look like a Bb to me. I can't be sure just "eyeballing" the circuits from a pic. Anybody wanna help me out here?

My vote is Bb based on length of the second valve slide.
Funky looking patina
Cant carry a tune but I can carry a tuba.

Yup! That's what it is for sure. E flat. Those were great horns too. Bells were awesome.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking but it's nice to get other opinions. Somebody's gonna get a nice horn there. I recently bought a Holton Sousa with a finish that looked even funkier than this. That skanky silver will probably clean up pretty well.

Thanks for the input everyone :)
