Where to buy a specific old record?

Post by bort »

Besides eBay, what is a good internet-based place to buy a specific old record? There is an old NY Philharmonic record that I always used to look at on the display in Avery Fisher Hall, and I really liked the cover art. There are a few on eBay from time to time, but the covers are worn and not great (apparently people are concerned about the records inside!) I want one with a mint cover, and the records can be in any condition.

Any ideas? For the rrcord, this is the record:

In the twin cities try the Electric Fetus or Hertiage Records.

I've been amazed at the resurgence of vinyl. I just noticed today a new small shop just selling vinyl in my town and saw a really fancy place devoted to just selling records in a mall last week. It will be interesting to see if this vinyl resurgence lasts.
