Effie the Elephant...Percussion Part?

Post by pjdicris »

Some of you may know that the original recording of Effie by Harvey Phillips had piano and percussion (drum set and glockenspiel) accompaniment. I was trying to find the sheet music to the percussion part, and found somewhere that claimed to sell it (It was listed as a percussion part, etc). However, when the package came, I got another copy of the tuba solo/piano part. I am currently waiting for a response from both the sheet music purchasing source AND the publisher, to get to the bottom of this.

For you all, my question is have any of you ever played the solo with the added percussion part/have it/can tell me where you got it?

Thanks!
