Sounds like some of the old MW piston tubas' 5th valve paddle angle. You have to bend your thumb in and down, almost like the hand shape you make when you count to the number four on your fingers. I have never been a fan of the ergonomics of that design. I haven't played a Meinl-Weston in several years, so I am not sure if they still have that weird angle for the fifth valve.
Maybe Wisemann took some cues from them?

It the exact same thing with the B&S that it was copied from. I ended up selling my PT6P because the placement of the fifth valve paddle was causing me to have severe hand cramps.

When I compared my PT6P to two Wisemann copies they all felt the same ergonomically and my PT6P had that same angle. The angle never bothered me, but I could see how it could be bothersome to some especially if one has larger hands.

Any such thing as a 4P + 1R with a LH 5th?
I still contemplate a LH 5th from time to time. Seems very comfortable, and not like my LH is doing much else.
