I used to travel to LaGrange every month or so on business. I know of no music interest in that area unless it would be guitar pickin' or fiddlin' :!: Lee Stofer is familiar with the area. You might give him a shout.

Charlie Vernon played this solo with us when I was playing in the wind ensemble at Brevard in the summer of 2000. It's a really great piece, and is on the rep list of several concerto competitions and such. It is indeed a pretty well-known piece.
