Has anybody tried the TC Electronics Sub'n'Up Octaver pedal?
I've been wondering if it can be used in a live situation to dub or replace a tenor trombone part on tuba in a horn section

The Helicon Voicetone D1 might be the better option since it has the necessary preamp/signal allignment built in: https://www.tc-helicon.com/Categories/T ... #googtrans(en|en" target="_blank)

I always love using an octaver while playing Electric bass.

Re: TC Electronics Sub'n'Up Octaver pedal
I haven't tried that one, but I use an Electro Harmonix POG nano quite a bit. Especially the low octave.
I used to have a Boss octaver, but I found the EH tracks better on lower notes. Cheaper, too.
EDIT: Just re-read the OP. I think the upper octave setting sounds a bit thin and artificial to use as a trombone or euph sub. Maybe hidden in a larger ensemble would be better.
