Rotary F tuba vs Piston F tuba
Hi all, I have been doing some research into F tubas and I am curious what the perks of a rotary valve and piston valve F tuba. I currently use a MACK PT-15 clone and really like it. I am just curious if there is any particular upsides to a rotary F tuba over piston or vise versa. I do realize it is personal preference but I am interested to hear opinions of the valve systems and why people prefer one over the other. Thanks!
