I second everything that was said. I had them reshank and replate a couple of mouthpieces for me, and the results were amazing...absolute first class work.

I called dillon, and they wanted something close to $80 to plate the MP, plus an hourly fee to be determined later for work to prepare it for plating. Even if the work only took an hour, I was worried the palting would exceed the cost of the MP.

Interesting you ran into the price issues you did...I've never paid more than the rates posted on their website for anything. Perhaps your mouthpiece needed lots of prep work to be able to be plated and that's where your costs went up.

I've had great experiences with them.
