Also, when I play Eb below the staff my nose tickles somethin' feirce! Only on that note. None others have this effect on me (I guess this post falls under the "things you hate" cattegory).
The blur to which you refer to has been discussed quite recently here and you should look it up since it was discussed in good detail. As far as the Eb, yep that's just you! I've never heard of anything like that..
I can't see to read in optimum light-let alone on a stage in some dark bar.
I never take any sheet music, cheat sheets or notes onstage. If I don't have it down by ear I don't play the tune until I do.
My skull resonates at a low A. My vision will get blurry as I approach this note and my nose will really tickle if I have to play a loud, extended low A. Sometimes I have to reach up and put a finger against my nose to keep it from distracting me while playing (which can look a little strange to the audience). If I play a low A really loud, I have had the conductor vanish briefly. I wish I could play it longer - it would eliminate an annoying distraction.

I experience the blurring as well, but it's ESPECIALLY cool when you're playing and staring at a computer monitor!! TRY IT!!!
The post about why we all chose tuba... if only I knew then what I know now. I am clean and drug free for the simple fact that playing tuba offers many of the same highs and dizziness obtained from illegal drugs!!! TUBA IS MY ANTI-DRUG. (Well, that and I'd never do drugs anyhow, but still. It sounds good!)
Notes jumping round the page could be a classic symptom of Dyslexia along with poor short term memory, poor co-ordination, low self esteem and mixing up left and right. Mind you that also begs the question of how much hootch you drank the night before.........
