I've received congratulations from multiple conductors on my "proper" E-flat tuba sound--using a 19-inch bell Holton Monster E-flat and shallow-bowl PT-62 mouthpiece.

Playing with skill, artistry, and a clear tonal concept probably had something to do with deploying this setup successfully...

The Willson 3400 is also a nice horn. If you want to go the 5 valve route it fits in between the comp 19" bell horns and the Norwegian star. A bit more weight in the sound than the 2141 MW. It also comes in a comp version as well that plays beautifully from the two I have played.

Willson Eb 3400 FA5

..and a miriad of other JUNK not worth mentioning.
