Musical Speedbumps
I was just thinking about all of the various challenges that students face when learning to play the Tuba or Euphonium. What was the biggest hurdle you all faced when learning your instrument? I have to say that transitioning from the "valve" register to pedal tones. I've spent a lot of time on trying to develop my pedal register, and I'm still working on it. What would you say has been your greatest struggle?

I feel like I’m in that Star Trek where the ship keeps exploding and then everyone is back at the poker table with dèjá vu.
