Barrington instruments?

I asked the same question here a year ago, and it was promptly deleted from the site. I have also sent email inquiries directly to the Brasswind, asking if they are dual-bore and if the bore is really what they claim it is, and have received no replies. I really would like to try one because they appear to be copies of the Mirafone 1271, which is a wonderful student tuba in my opinion.
