Seeking To Borrow Some Tuba Parts.

Post by Dan Schultz »

Aside from six or so other local groups, I also play with a traditional British style brass band. River Brass of Newburgh, Indiana will begin rehearsing for our Spring concert next week. I play BBb tuba and normally get the music early enough to do the bass clef concert pitch transpositions. Ordinarily this is not a big deal. However... for one reason or another the music we have on order might not be here for another two weeks. I would like to borrow the BBb tuba parts for the following titles. Of course... if you have bass clef concert pitch parts that would be excellent!
- "Rusalka's Song to the Moon" by Dvorak arranged by Langford.
- "By Trevone Bay" - by Paul Lovatt-Cooper.
- "Harlequin" by Bruce Broughton.

I've already tried contacting the publishers, composers, and/or arrangers and the concert pitch parts are not available.

Thanks for you consideration. I'm not trying to skirt any copyright issues... just looking to 'speed' things up a bit.
