I know this has been discussed before, but I was having a conversation yesterday about instruments I've owned that I wish I had back again, and I thought it would be interesting to hear others' thoughts about instruments they feel that way about.
For me, the one is a York "monster" Eb that sold about 20 years ago. It needed a valve job, but still had a great sound. I regret not having the valves done and just holding onto it.
There were a couple of others, like this Conn 22J, although it was definitely larger and heavier than I would want today.
But the York is probably the one I wish I had today the most.
The one that got away.

I have a list, but the ones I regret the most are a Conn 1911 5 valve Double bell euphonium and a Conn 28K sousaphone.

I had a 28K too. That's another one that there are times I wish I still had.

Pre-180 Miraphone F, probably from the 1950s. I sold it because I was really tired of dealing with its intonation issues, but its tone was simply beautiful.
