music for a low brass quartet

Post by opus37 »

I'm just starting a low brass quartet (3 euphoniums and a tuba). The players can handle level 3 and 4 charts, but with a bit of practice maybe a level 5. We will be playing special music during church services. I'm looking for suggestions for music. Any ideas....

Hi, I have a website that hosts PDF of quartet arrangements. They can be prepared for different instruments. If you see anything you want at jdklattmusic.com let me know. I will also take any request (within reason) :D

Since the group I have is 3 euphoniums and 1 tuba, I have found that music written for a trombone quartet works very well. We play in church so the type of music needs to be religious, classical, or similar. I think you can guess what type of music would not be appropriate. I've found about 10 things that work but am looking for more ideas.
