What a great concert! Thanks for spreading the word Karl. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
For those who don't know, the BBCF won 1st place at the U.S. Open Brass Band Championships held in Chicago in November, 2004. The BBCF then won the NABBA competition in Chicago in March of 2005 and is now the top-ranked brass band in the U.S. On September 17, 2005, they will be competing in the prestigious 153rd British Open Brass Band competition in Birmingham, England -- the only foreign brass band to compete I understand. Then they've been invited to perform the following evening in the GALA concert... which is normally reserved for the top 4 finishing bands of the competition.
Good luck in the competition in September. You guys should be proud.
