I played one of these at Custom about three weeks ago. Big sound and great response. I really liked the horn. Problem is I'm 5' 6" and could barely reach the valves. Horn makers need to start thinking a tad bit more about ergonomics. My .02

I second that...! I got a good idea of what sounded good by going to Dillon Music and tryin out a lot of different horns. I settled on the VMI - a really solid 6/4 tuba.
