Do horns ding themselves?
I can't believe all the different thoughts about the cause of dents. The answer is so simple. These days, anything that goes wrong can be blamed on the same source--George W. Bush. Now try to remember that, gang! If you have an unexplained ding, it's George W. Bush's fault. If you went to a poker game and lost all your money, that's right, GW's fault. That's how it works.

Well, that's what everyone said, anyway!
Well, then it must be true!

Guns don't dent tubas. People dent tubas.Paul M wrote:Because I pulled out my tuba today, from it's locker, with nothing else inside, and found this huge crease in the bell, like someone had stepped on it. I don't get it, but man I'm angry. I just had it dedented too!

Maybe it just resented being dedented. Next time, try stunning it first, so it won't be so shocked.Paul M wrote:Because I pulled out my tuba today, from it's locker, with nothing else inside, and found this huge crease in the bell, like someone had stepped on it. If garden hoses and wires can get knots and tangles in them when at no time did the ends ever cross, I think is possible for horns to dent themselves.
