Rudolf Meinl doesn't add serial numbers.
However there are two "sort of" exceptions:
Rudolf Meinl instruments with piston valves have a serial number on the valveset from the manufacturer of the valveset.
Rudolf Meinl instruments imported by Custom Music had serial numbers added to them after they arrived in the US.
