...the new Conn F tuba? It was suppose to be in production a couple of years ago.

The engineer at the Conn-Selmer booth at Midwest last December indicated, when asked about the Conn F tuba, that all R&D had been put on hold.

So that means that the prototype is probably sitting on a shelf collecting dust. What a shame.

...an entirely logical decision. While UMI may have seen a potential market in offering a CC, their stock-and-trade is still BBb.

How many Conn F's do you think would UMI get firm orders for? The US market just isn't that big.

it's probably crated up and in a huge government warehouse next to the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail, Indiana Jones' whip, etc...............................................
