Well, I had the chance to follow up with the questions of any recordings Ms. Weldon may have made in the Netherlands. She was a member of Concertgebouw in 1958, and apparently everytime they performed the mic's were on. During that year, apparently, no real "session" took place, but there were lots of recordings done. On the current re-release of a collection of recordings from the late 50's, the only inclusion from that year did not include tuba. Through further talks with Sam Pilafian, there may be a possibility of a select compilation being made with several of the "biggies" that she performed that year. If I hear of anything further on this, I will let everyone know.
On another note, the presentation of the ITEA Lifetime Achievement Award to Ms. Weldon was a wonderful event. Several of her former students were able to come in from all parts of the country, and she had a great time.
all best,
