I've only tried the 681 CC and the Piggy CC Tubas, and I can tell you they are worth the cheap price they go for, but they definitely are not the best choice for a new Tuba.

An old teacher of mine said the the best tuba he ever played and the worst tuba he ever played were both a Cerveny Piggy.
