Small World
I went to a rehearsal tonight for a community band and was reminded just how small a world it is. In the normal chit-chat about horns with one of the other tubists, I noticed his Conn 3J looked awfully familiar. Yes, it was indeed a 3J that I had once owned and played while working on my masters degree. It was really strange to see a tuba I sold in California end up in a small Oklahoma town about 30 miles from where I now live. For what its worth, he sounded great on it.
