It wasn't that heavy at all and with it being such a compact, short instrument was quite easy to hold. The orientation of the valve slides was a bit uncomfortable. Also, being a three valve F meant no low Bb (which is why I'm getting my three valve bass bone built in Eb).
It was kind of a weird horn but fun to play. I sold it and my Chinese rotary bass trumpet quite a while back to a guy in Boston when I purged most of my horns. It sounded a bit more like a leaner slide contra than a big cimbasso, I think. I'll have another one some day. It'd be really cool if Kanstul were to make their G baritones in F.
