[I really haven't found any horns that I'd prefer to play to these, so I guess I'd call them my favorites.

Hey Chuck-
Thanks for showing the old Rudy. I'm missing it.

I can't say I blame you... it's a fantastic tuba! I hope the piggy is treating you well enough, as well as your new bass bow. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the piggy all prettied up.

Take care,
Chuck

As a part-time player, I certainly don't do the horn justice. It can be a real handful, but when you dig in the spurs, it produces a fairly unique sound - overwhelming if I want it to be.
Not for everyone, and certainly not without its quirks. Anytime you're in SoCal, you're more than welcome to stop by for a honk...

Re: Rudy
The Piggy is doing great. I'm using an old Helleberg with it now and it just blossoms! Haven't had time to finish stripping the horn yet, but I'll send a pic when it's done. Haven't had the bow in hand very much lately, on the road a lot. It's a great one though.tubacdk wrote:Hey Ike,IkeH wrote:Thanks for showing the old Rudy. I'm missing it.
