Hey, it's Texas. Everybody drives five hours. At least. It's five and a half from Midland, where I taught band for three years, and it's almost nine from Amarillo, and I made that drive twice a year for six years. Do youself a favor: get the time off of school and drive the distance. It's well worth it. In fact, I'm planning on making the drive from Athens this year to make it to TMEA.....hope to see some of you there!yeah, i was going to go to the tmea convention...but i would of had to miss school, i live 5 hours away
