I'm working on the Broughton Sonata for the George Mason Competition. I just got done with a recital of Pavane for a Dead Princess (Ravel), Triumph of the Demon Gods (Stevens), and Three Miniatures (Plog). I split the recital a bass trombonist.
Right now I am working on the Plog Three Miniatures, the Hartley Sonata, Barat Introduction et Serenade, Raum Legend of Heimdall, and Stevens Dances (solo part).
Well... Newton Capriccio, Applegate Concerto and Unnacompanied Suite, Mozart and Strauss First Horn Concerto, F. Strauss Nocturno, Barnes Concerto, VW Tuba Concerto, Booker Sonata, and Gregson Concerto. No perticular occasion to keep these pieces worked up, but it's more fun to have more material to work on. Have fun everybody.
Always remember that thinking just gets you in trouble.
I am working on Balada (op. 29) by Ciprian Porumbescu.
noroc (good luck),

Tubist of Time wrote:I'm currently working on a rather "easy" version of Carnival of Venice by J.B. Arban. I would really like to find a full version of this solo. Any suggestions?
Arbans Book. Definitely the Trumpet Arbans....can't remember if it's in the new tuba version or not....
