The toxicity I was referring to was the alleged behavior of some musicians to be "lax" in their accounting methods.

I'm sorry, but his mental state has deteriorated and taken his musical ability with it, (that being the observations of fellow musicians.) If it had happened anywhere but in this bastion of uber-liberalism Seattle he would have been given his walking papers and never a second thought given to the matter.
