Baer PVAK - part 3

I just put the PVAK on my 641 euph (Same kit as the 642, BTW). Works great, nice definite change when slurring, horn feels slightly more responsive and resonant. Not a major difference, to be sure, but way cheaper than a new horn. Valves don't really sound noisier, more of a dink instead of a thhhhwunk when you work the valves. Real quick shipping, had it 2 days after the payment cleared.

What are you talking about? There have been verified cases of the manufacturer you reference not exactly being the zenith of accuracy in precision of manufacture.

it isn't about glorifying monette it is about the concepts. precision fitting everything, higher consistency. The less you have to think about your horn as a variable the more you can concentrate on you being consistent. That is why the PVAK are such a great thing .. they take the valves alignment almost permanently out of the equation.
