OK. so I got my contrabone back from the local repair shop and after using super low temp silver solder on the Valve post, the valve issues are completely gone. Basically, this horn is awesome for the money although I think the more expensive horns play more in tune without changing out anything. like I am planning on ordering a leadpipe from Thein to change out the crappy leadpipe that came with my horn if I can't find a satisfactory leadpipe from Kanstul or the people hornguys.com uses on their jinbao alto leadpipe replacements. I am almost certain that after I replace the leadpipe this horn is going to be a lot more in tune through the partials which is my only gripe I have left other than the lesser quality workmanship but that is to be expected on a chinese copy. the repair cost $120 buddy pricing so maybe $200+ if you're not friends with the repairman.
