Well that’ll be cool! Be sure to say how you like it.
I got the 4 valve version that Tyler was selling, and I also really love the sound. Besides that, it’s such a nice size, and it looks so good

16.5” and about 39”
Baltimore Brass can tell you if theirs is a little different.

I talked to them about it and ended up buying the M&M CC instead. They said the Scherzer was incredibly stuffy and not a good player.

That was not my experience with the Scherzer. Also, two high-level players in Baltimore that I know and 100% trust have both found the Scherzer to be a very fine instrument.
But, to each, his own. Congrats on your new tuba!

Thank you! Can't wait for it to arrive! Baltimore Brass themselves told me to go with the M&M instead. Maybe it's a different Scherzer?

100% the same Scherzer. It's been there for about 10 years.
And there are no concerns here, you can 100% trust BBC to give you solid advice.
(Not sure why I'm using 100% so much today!)

I suppose if I ever decide to get myself a German style tuba that'll be the first place I go.

You've been thinking of 100% filling your spare living space with a tuba collection.
