Wow! I should try the Laskey. I've been pretty satisfied with my conn helleberg on my 1291 CC. Didnt like the TU 29 very much, probably for the same reason, but that's the only other mouthpiece that I've tried other than my constant helleberg (I did try Dennis Nulty's Monet this summer, but he told me that it was unusually good for a Monet). Is the Laskey cone or cup? Would it be wise for a conn helleberg addict to use it?

I have a private student who got a 1291 CC last Fall and we messed around with several mpc's. The Helleberg didn't seem to allow enough air into the horn, and he found the Laskey at Dillon's. It seems to be working just fine.

Yes, my student had played on the Helleberg for three years before he got the 1291.
