With the snow on the ground and the gigantic smile on your face, I'd swear it was Christmas in March. Congratulations! I've seen your posts for a few years now and I know this has been a goal for you. Thank you for sharing your joy with the rest of us. It's nice to be able to share in someone's excitement, joy and jubilation. Posts like this remind us that there are actual PEOPLE associated with screen names and posts. Far too often that gets lost.
I've gotta say, the pictures of the freight truck remind me of the first tuba I ever had. It was a Cerveny ACB681-5MR that I bought brand new. It was drop shipped from the Czech Republic and was delivered in a similar type of truck. I remember the truck coming down our narrow street......and ripping the power cable right off my neighbor's house. HA! After getting the wooden crate off the truck it was like a scene out of A Christmas Story.

Enjoy!

Bob,
It looks like the perfect match, Enjoy it, and from the looks of the neighborhood, your long hours of playing shouldn't bother the neighbors. Play away. Congrats

It's a shame there is nobody writing or on the radio like Jean Shepherd these days. His stuff was the best. A Christmas Story still cracks me up every time I see it.TubaTodd wrote:

It is very compact and if I ever went anywear to play I think it would be easy to move<s.....BBtooba wrote:Congrats BobI know you've wanted a 6/4 tuba for quite a while now.
Looks more compact than I would have thought - should make it easier for transport

I even owned a 4/4 of his for a while. Great little horn. I think this horn will make you happy for a very long time Bob.
