I didn't know that there were such things. I thought that each Gnagney was its own individual "work of art." (Tongue only slightly in cheek...Everyone who plays one of Sam's creations has had great things to say about them or has kept their mouth shut with any criticism. The only Gnagney-influenced horn that I've ever had the pleasure to play, albeit briefly, was the big Martin-Gnagney BBb once owned by Mitch Williams and now listed for sale by Blake Cooper here on TN.)

This is my university's orchestra section. Taken after a performance of the Bolcolm Clarinet Concert with 2 bass bone parts  I'm the Godfather-ish lad sitting with his horn.

Hamilton Place! I played there many times in the three years I was a member of the NAO myself! Played S. Fantastique last season with the HPO there too. The best was when they shipped in bus-loads of kids for the school shows. Is Boris still doing his head-shake vibrato on "The Rattlin' Bog" number?

Sure, we weren't the greatest marching band and definitely not the greatest band, but there was no where else I would have wanted to have been.

Me being the guy you cannot see on the outer right behind my York monster Eb 8)
I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank tubist and conductor of the band Clive Zwanswiniski
to take us to a winning place in the 1st section.

This Band, Alexander Brass - named after a pub, is a bunch of old bandsmen
just getting together a few times a year to do this and the nationals

I believe that Travis (Mr. Stone) and I are the only Tubenet folks on here. Travis is flashing his low brass gang sign, and I am to the extreme left in the front row of this photo.
