Had on VH1 and saw Gwen Stefanis' Hollaback Girl video.
Not sure the marching band was a college band but they did play marching tubas.
New Breed, Old Breed! It doesn't matter so long as it's the Marine Breed!

When I was in grad school at Mizzou I played a year in Marching Mizzou, not only because they were good and I wanted to be a part of it, but also because the mystique at a lot of the high schools in SW Missouri was if you were a good player after you graduated, you got to play in a college band, but if you were REALLY good, you got to play with Marching Mizzou.

I was there just before the NCAA said we couldn't sit in temp bleachers erected just for us between the end line and the track. I don't even remember who was playing Mizzou, but the opposing team was setting up for @ 25 yard field goal. I set my horn down, ran behind the bleachers, made an educated guess as to the angle from the hash mark, and here it came...I caught the field goal! Being near the end of the season, I considered that a fitting conclusion to my college marching career of all of one season.

Fight, Tigers fight for ole' Mizzou...
