The two videos seem to be a lot of talking, I'd like to hear more of this instrument, especially if you can find some other "period" instruments to play with.
Nice idea! Tony George only had 10 minutes free to make the previous recording.

I think he may be playing the Wessex ophicleide with John Wallace on trumpet for BBC radio on May 26th, but don't know if I can link to that broadcast.

On May 27th he will be playing the ophicleide in John Wallace 65th birthday concert in London at Queen Elizabeth Hall - see http://player.vimeo.com/video/93839276

I would definitely like to hear it more in a "dry" environment - that room where it was recorded seemed extremely live and made it harder to discern the pure sound of the instrument.
