How to add pictures?

Post by Charlie C Chowder »

Ok, now that I have my second Marzan back from the shop, how do I add pictures form my computer to this web site? Or where do I look on this site to get instructions on this?

There may be an easier way, but
Click on "Full Editor & Preview" button
Click on image icon at top of editor.
This auto-dumps the following into your text "[imj][/imj]"
Place the image link address after "[imj]" and before "[/imj]"
Image link address? = Find image on internet. Mouse right-click. Copy image link. Cut & paste in between ] and [.
Hey presto!

Before that even, you need to upload your photos somewhere so you have a URL to place in the img tag. I like Google Photos because you can resize the image in the URL itself.

The image I embedded in this post has this as the URL: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/(long string of characters)=w1080-h1620-no?authuser=1

I change what's after the = to w300 and delete everything after that, and then it embeds at 300 pixels wide here.

Yippee! It also shows my Mariphone 186 with the replaced bell by "Tink", 18 lbs.
