What is the best way to remove a bell tenon from an old Conn 22K fiberglass bell? I have one lying around and I need a tenon for a 20K bell that has no tenon for a 20K restoration project. Are they glued on? I thought I would ask before I get out my grinder and possibly ruin something. Or if anyone has a bell tenon for a 20K/2XJ that I could buy, it would keep me from ruining a 22K bell.

Thanks. That thread doesn't tell me how to remove a tenon from a fiberglass sousa. But it mentioned Allied may have 20k tenons in their catalog? Can anyone confirm this?
